FAQ Gala 2021

The gala is an annual fundraising event for the Hill Country Pregnancy Care Center in Boerne, TX. There is a meal, a guest speaker, and an opportunity to support the center.

This year, we are hosting two different groups on

  • A brunch seating from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m with limited capacity.
  • Our dinner option has been converted to a Gourmet Gala-to-Go. The red carpet drive-through pick up of meals will be from 4-6 p.m. at the Cana Ballroom.
  • Cana Ballroom address: 202 W Kronkosky St @ W Highland Ave, Boerne

Our Gourmet Gala-to-Go is an elegant opportunity to enjoy our gala and support the Hill Country Pregnancy Center from the comfort and safety of home. We will provide everything you need for a gala, from plates and napkins to ambient lighting. All you need to do is pick up your Gourmet Gala-to-Go kit and take it home to enjoy with your family and friends.

The Gourmet Gala-to-Go kits include everything you need to have a gala.

  • A three course meal made by The Grille at Leon Springs
    1. Salad
    2. Main Course – (Braised angus beef)
    3. Dessert
  • A beverage for each person
  • Dinnerware – plates, flatware and napkins
  • HCPCC informational packet
  • Access to an exclusive gala video featuring stories from throughout our center and a guest speaker
  • Special gifts from HCPCC to enhance your dinner

No, we don’t charge to attend. We ask that you would prayerfully consider a monetary donation to support the ongoing work of the pregnancy care center.

No, there is no cost to host a table. We ask you to invite friends who support ‘life’ and who might consider financially supporting the ongoing work of the Hill Country Pregnancy Care Center.

  • Due to our limited seating capacity at the brunch, all guests must be registered. Gourmet Gala-to-Go meals must also be registered so the correct number of meals can be prepared and packaged.
  • Registration is easy! Simply register online at donatehcpcc.org. You can register as a table host or as a guest for either our in person brunch or for our Gourmet Gala-to-Go dinner.

A table host is not required to complete registration for the gala as a guest. You will be seated with a table host for the in person brunch. For our evening Gourmet Gala-to-Go, you can enjoy the gala from your own home by yourself, or with friends.

  • Six people, including the host, will be seated at a table for our in person brunch.
  • If you have more guests to seat at your table, please call us.

We will fill empty seats at your table with other registered guests.

  • Our brunch gala will be held at The Cana Ballroom in Boerne.
  • Our Gourmet Gala-to-go dinner pick up is at the Cana Ballroom located at 202 W Kronkosky St, Boerne.

At this point, HCPCC will follow the guidelines that are provided by the Governor or Mayor — we continue to watch daily for updates. At the current time (for your safety), masks will be available at registration, and are preferred (but not required) when not seated at the table.

Freddie Scott is a former NFL football player who played for the Atlanta Falcons and Indianapolis Colts. After retiring from the NFL, he founded a leadership coaching company, partnering with other NFL athletes. He has also written a book, The Dad I Wish I Had, and has become a speaker and advocate for fatherless children and their families.

  • For our in person brunch, doors will open 30 minutes before the event starts.
  • Pick up for the evening Gala-to-Go will begin at 4 p.m.
